Who I am

kaszuba.co.uk is the personal website of Matthew Kaszuba, an independent developer based in the United Kingdom. References to "I", "me", or "the site" below mean Matthew Kaszuba operating as a sole trader.

What data this site collects

Contact form. When you submit the contact form, the name, email address, and message you enter are sent to my inbox via the email provider Resend (resend.com). The submission also briefly logs your IP address for spam and rate-limiting only; it is not stored beyond the request.

Hosting logs. The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel automatically logs basic request metadata (IP, user agent, response code) for security and performance. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

No analytics, no cookies, no tracking. This site does not use cookies, third-party trackers, or marketing pixels.

What I do with it

Contact form submissions are read by me and used only to reply to your message. I do not use them for marketing, do not share them with third parties beyond the email provider needed to deliver them, and do not store them in any external database.

How long it’s kept

Emails from the contact form are kept in my inbox until I delete them — typically within a few months of the conversation ending. If you'd like a copy or deletion of any message you sent, email me and I'll handle it.

Your rights (UK GDPR)

Under UK data protection law you can ask me to confirm what data I hold about you, request a copy, ask for corrections, or ask for it to be deleted. Email me at contact@kaszuba.co.uk and I'll respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you think your data has been mishandled.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top will change too. Material changes will be flagged on the home page when reasonably possible.
